The duo CFMCW develops their pieces from improvisational, compositional and collage techniques, inspired by musique concrète instrumentale.
Cornelia Friederike Müller aka CFM is a visual artist and sound artist from Leipzig, Germany. She turned to electronic music after studying fine arts, philosophy, education and psychology, as a DJ, editor of the fanzine "repertoire", which she co-founded, and as co-organiser of "Der Elektronische Sonntag" - with numerous first-time performances by female sound artists from Leipzig - as well as part of the women's network propellas and caramba!records. Chris Weinheimer moves in the field of tension between strictly deterministic programmes and the attempt to not predict and the resulting connections and feedbacks. His fields of work are music, theatre and performance.
